HomeMy WebLinkAbout1154 Ord (Chapter 1, Article V, Section 5.06 regarding Holding Other Offices)ORDINANCE NO. 1154 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1, ARTICLE V, SECTION 5.06 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER REGARDING HOLDING OTHER OFFICES The City Council of the City of Stillwater does ordain: SECTION 1 AMENDMENT. Chapter 1, Article V, Section 5.06 of the Stillwater City Code, Holding Other Offices, is hereby amended as follows: No member of the Council shall hold any other City employment or employment or be a member of the Library Board. Neither may any Councilmember be elected or appointed to any office created nor the compensation of which is increased by the Council while a member thereof until one year after the expiration of the term for which the member was elected. SECTION 2 EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be effective January 1, 2021. Adopted by the Stillwater City Council this 29th day of September, 2020.
