HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-038 (2019 Compensation Adjustment for Nonrepresented Employees) RESOLUTION 2019-038 APPROVING THE 2019 COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENT FOR NONREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Stillwater,Minnesota,that the total compensation for City nonrepresented employees for 2019 and 2020 is hereby approved with the following changes: • Wages-General Wage Increase: 3% increase retroactive to effective January 1, 2019; 3% increase effective January 1, 2020 • Health Insurance - Increase employer contribution for group health insurance coverage by$20 per month effective January 1, 2019, and $20 per month effective January 1, 2020 • Health Insurance Plan Design - Implement a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota High Value Network plan design change effective April 1, 2019, replacing the previously-held BCBSMN Group Value and Aware Network plans • Sick Leave o Schedule of sick leave accrual adjusted to convert half pay weeks to full pay weeks and delete reference to half pay weeks o Employees hired by the City on or after January 1, 2019, full-time working 40 hours per week will accrue sick leave at the rate of 8 hours/month to a maximum of 1040 hours. Up to a maximum of 1040 hours of unused sick leave benefits shall be granted as severance pay upon retirement due to age or physical disability to employee having completed not less than ten (10) years of service with the City BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Stillwater City Council authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the agreement.
