PROJECT LOCATION: 114 East Chestnut Street
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Central Business District
ZONING DISTRICT: CBD
APPLICANTS NAME: Mark Hanson
TYPE OF APPLICATION: Design Review
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Design review for exterior sign, replace
front windows and install a canopy.
DISCUSSION
The applicant has installed a 2' by 4' handmade wooden sign. The
sign has the name of the business, Harvest Restaurant & Inn, and
a logo consisting of grapes and a bottle of wine. At the bottom
of the sign in approximately 4" lettering is "Now Open Lunch &
Dinner". The lettering is burgundy in color.
The second part of the request is to replace the front paned
windows with a single paned window. The larger window area will
allow the applicant to place gold leaf lettering on the windows.
The lettering would say "The Harvest Restaurant and Inn.
The final request is to install a canopy in the spring 2' by 8'
by the front foyer door, which is the entrance door on the side
of the small driveway. The color would be the same as the house,
dark green and shades of mauve.
