Under the head of unfinished business the Sevier committee reported that they recommended that all bide received at the previous meeting for the construction of Sewers In So, prat and East Willard Streets be re,ected,and on motion of Alderman Wells, all bids received at the last mectin:: for the construction of said sewers were rejected. On motion of Alderman kurphy, the City Engineer was instructed to re -advertise for bids for the construction of said sewers, bins to be made returnable Dec, 2,1913. On motion of Alderman Statical, the Street Committee was instructed to prepare plans for the construction of a culvert and fill for the Everett Street L•_4dre,and to asee;twin the probable cost of same. On motion of Alderman King the matter of slralchtergnc Olive street where it crosses Greeley Street, was referred to the Street Committee to investigate and report on esce at next meeting. lir. C. H, Csrli ,6uperintendent of the atone Quarry made verbal report of his work, and suggested that he d.-emed 1t advisable to have aerial:. rocks overhanging the bluff removed before some became loose, and on motion or Alderman Starkel it was decided that the council as a whole visit the quarry tad lock, into the matter. On motion of Alderman !.urphY the City Treasurer was instructed to cancel the sidewalk assessment against Lot 1 block 1 of Staples and Lays Addition, Applications of Frank Lundgren and Carl S. Meister Cor renewal of liquor lieelise.were on motion: of Alderman n'ordwell, sceepted, ordered filed and license granted. Liquor license: bond of Fran& Lundgren was on motion of Alderman Kin.;, accepted, approved (Ana ordered filed. Contract between McGee and Nolan and the City of Stillwater, for the con- atructlon of sewers in South First Street and East Vdllard Streets was p eaented, and on motion of Alderman King, was accepted. approved and ordered filed. Bond of McGee and Nolan, in the sum of $9000.Or for the performance of the conditions as set forth in the contract for the construction of the sewers above ntmed was on motion of Alderman King, accepted, approved and ordered Bled. Alderman Bordwell for the Street Committee reported that the committee had been making investigation regarding the construction of the Everett Street bridge, but as yet had taken to actlon, and aared for further time. Mr. Bill, wh.; lives near the bridge was present and offered to give the OILY a quantity of earth to make a fill for said bridge. After some dlscuaslon,the the Street Committee was on motion of Alderman King granted further time. Alderman Burtzlsff moved that the Street Committee be instructed to cause to be pet in a culvert on Willard Street between 6th and 7th Street. Alderman Starka2 offered an amemdment as follows- that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and probable cost of such culvert and report at next meeting. Amendment Carded, and cotton as amended was de^laced carried. On motion of Alderman King, the matter of repairing the Street Roller was referred to the Street Commltt-re to investigate and report on at next melting. On motion of Alderman Murphy the F. L. Committee was Instructed to have the Steam Fire Engine thourouchly examined and inspected. On motion of Alderman burtziaff the F. n. Committee was instru^ted to confer with the officers of CQ.K. with reference to heating the Armory. On motion of Alderman King the Street committee was instructed to hove the sidewalk on Sixth Ave. between ;idle:d and Churchill Streets repaired. On motion of Alderman Oturtel the Purchasing committee was instructed to dispose of all the old boilers and old Iron Laic n out of the old het -tang plant and the pontoon . On motton of Alderman King the matter of payment co; belt for Stone Crusher was referred to the City Attorney, to be Luken up with the: Austin-'estern Rood tochlne;y CO.
