Murphy, tells and President Mosier (90.
Minutes of last regulsr rxetlt.g held Feb. nth, read snd approved
Report of city Attorney on the matter or permitting T. C. Mocking to install
a gasoline pump on the sidewe1K,1n front of his place of business, was presented and
read, snd on notion of Alderman Glaser, vas accepted, adopted and ordered filed.
on motion of AlderGBt. Glaser, the special committee on stone -crusher was
granted further time.
The city Attorney, for the Legislative couualt.tee, reported that he had
prepared three bills, to be presented to the state Legislature for passage, which
were as follows;
1st. A bill to authorize the C1ty,prOvide for p'1't.1a1 payments for
local improvements and to issue certificates of lhdhbtednese to pay for such w$rk.
2ret. A bill to authorize the City CouncilAlssue bonds ,not to exceed
•25,000.00, tz pal for permanent liproveuents where no se sessreent8 are levied,and
3rd, A bill to authorize the City to melee Improvements at the expense of
the City, without levying assessments for the ease.
A11 sold bills were reed by the City Attorney 1n full, and explained to
the Council, and which net with the approval of the entire Council, and the
Let>islative COmulttee was Instructed to present said bills to the Elate Leglelotule
for passage.
The Legislative Committee was also instructed to have Chapter 264,Laws
1909, amended so as t0 aPPIY to Cities of third class.
Resolution No. 2219_
on payr.eLt of sundry bills was sdopted by the following vote; Aldermen Bordwell,
Glaser, Giebler, Johnson, King, Meister, Murphy, tells and President Mosier (9)
voting yea.
