SPECIAL MEETING
The meeting was called to order by President Powell.
Present:
Councilmen Balfanz, Wohlers and President Powell
Councilman Peterson arrived at 3:30 P. M.
Absent:
Councilman Thompson

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. On motion of Councilman Balfanz, seconded by Councilman Wohlers a
resolution was introduced uAPPROVING ANNEXATION PETITION - JACKSON-
THOMPSON". (repass)
2. The Resolution "Setting up OSHA COMMITTEE" was held for a future meeting.
3. On motion of Councilman Wohlers, seconded by Councilman Balfanz a
resolution was introduced "SETTING UP ESCROW FUND FOR TRUCKS" (see
resolutions).
4. On motion of Councilman Balfanz, seconded by Councilman Wohlers a
resolution was introduced "MAKING INTER-FUND TRANSFERS". (see
resolutions) .
5. On motion of Councilman Balfanz, seconded by Councilman Wohlers a
resolution was introduced "ESTABLISHING WORK WEEK". (see resolutions).
6. On motion of Councilman Balfanz, seconded by Councilman Wohlers a
resolution was introduced "EMPLOYING DANIEL MOSIMAN AS A FIREFIGHTER AS
OF JANUARY IS, 1975". (see resolutions).
7. On motion of Councilman Wohlers, seconded by Councilman Balfanz a
resolution was introduced "DIRECTING THE PAYMENT OF THE BILLS". (see
resolutions) .

On motion of Councilman Wohlers, seconded by Councilman Balfanz that the
following applications for licenses for 1975 from John E. Farkas be approved

REW BUSINESS
On motion of Councilman Balfanz, seconded by Councilman Wohlers an
Excavator's Bond for David Junker dba Junker Excavating in the amount
of $5.000.00 was approved.
2. On motion of Councilman Balfanz, seconded by Councilman Wohlers the City
Coordinator was instructed to inform the Public Safety, Public Works and
Fire Departments making a counter-proposal offer of 9% across the board
increase in salaries for 1975. (all in favor)

3. On motion of Councilman Peterson, seconded by Councilman Wohlers a
resolution was introduced "Authorizing any retiring members of the City
Council who have served eight or more years on the Council shall be
permitted to continue on the City's medical plan at his own expense
for as long as he desires to be a member of said Insurance Health Plan".

4. On motion of Councilman Balfanz, seconded by Councilman Wohlers the
City Engineer was instructed to prepare a Grant Application for the
Construction of the Dutchtown Interceptor Sewer, Local Improvement
No. 126.

adopted:
