CITY OF STILLWATER r RESOLUTION NO. 8293 RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT L.I. 257, THE DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION PLAN WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted May 2, 1989, a report has been prepared by Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc., Consultin9 Engineers with reference to the improvement of an area bounded by Fifth St. on the west, Pine St. on the south extended easterly to the St. Croix River, the St. Croix River on the east and Elm St. on the north extended easterly to the St. Croix River including the former State Prison site, and this report was received by Council on June 5, 1990; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF STILLWATER, MINNESOTA: r 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets, utilities and appurtances in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $8,975,270.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of June, 1990 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
