RESOLUTION NO. 7820
APEAL OF LEVY LIMITS FOR 1987/88
WHEREAS, the previous appeal for levy limit adjustment has been denied by the
State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has informed the City of Stillwater that the
adjustment to the levy limit base would be allowed with an increase in the
costs from the Comparable Worth Plan for 1987/88.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Stillwater,
Minnesota hereby directs the Finance Director to appeal the 1987/88 levy limit
as set forth by the State of Minnesota based on the costs of the Comparabale
Worth Plan.
Adopted by Council this 29th day of September, 1987.
