RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING
HEARING ON
THIRD STREET SOUTH IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
PROJECT 2018-09
WHEREAS,pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted February 20, 2018, a report has been
prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the Third Street South Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS,the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost-effective, and feasible,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF STILLWATER,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street improvements in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of
the improvement of$278,584.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 17th day of April
2018, at the Stillwater City Hall Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m., or as soon as possible
thereafter, and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Stillwater this 20th day of March 2018.
