APPROVAL OF MINUTES Harry Peterson moved to approve the June 22, 1983 minutes as presented. Ann Bodlovick seconded. Motion carried unanimously. BUSINESS MEETING 1. Final approval. of 'Geor a Olsdd'Mi-dor'Subdivision. Bob Briggs stated Barry Stack has taken care of the survey with the required easements and he had paid Dennis O'Donnell the park dedication fee. All the necessary require- ments were taken care of and he was present to obtain final approval of the subdivision. Ann Bodlovick moved to have the Chairperson sign the final plat, accept, the check for the park dedication, and grant final subdivision approval. Harry Peterson seconded. Motion carried unanimously. 2. Clarification of Park Dedication -Fees for'Minor Subdivisions in Residentia.l Districts. Bob Briggs stated he was present on behalf of Alan Metcalf to get a clarification on the motion regarding park dedication fees in residential areas. Dennis O'Donnell read the motion from the June 22, 1983 minutes which states "for ninor subdivisions in unplatted areas, a park dedication fee of 10% of the market value prior to development in residential areas will be charged". There was discussion on view points from the last meeting and how they were taken into consideration to arrive at the park dedication fee. Mr. Briggs stated it was his understanding the motion referred to the value of land as farm land rather than a piece of property which has been subdivided into residential lots. Mr. O'Donnell explained in the case of the Metcalf property, the five acre parcel would be divided in half and 10% of that value would be taken to arrive at the park dedication fee. After further discussion the committee agreed with Mr. O'Donnell's interpretation.
