NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Joint Powers Committee will hold a
public hearing on:
Thursday, January 3, 1985
5:30 p.m.
Washington County Courthouse
Stillwater, Minnesota 55082
The purpose of the hearing is to consider the request of Super Value,
Inc./Cub Foods for an amendment to the Joint Powers Zoning Ordinance.
The ordinance is proposed to be amended by added the following to Section
724.29 of the ordinance:
(6) Exceptions. On commercial buildings which exceed both 8,000 square
feet of front wall area and 60,000 square feet of total floor space,
the following shall be permitted:
A. No sign shall exceed 400 square feet in area.
B_ Two business identification signs shall be permitted on the front
wall.
C. One business identification sign shall be permitted on each side
wall with a maximum size of 200 square feet.
D. All other provisions of this section of the ordinance shall be
complied with.
The public is encouraged to attend and testify. Both written and oral
statements will be accepted at the hearing. Copies of the request
may be reviewed in the office of the Washington County Planning Department
during normal office hours.
Washington County does not discriminate on the basis of race, color,
