Laurel for building addition in a commercial zone - 48' x 58' - body shop addition to existing business. George W. Seim, Jr., 1219 N. First St.. to subdivide Lot # 5 (south 65 feet) - create a new parcel which will be 65' x 150' and the balance of 35' will become part of Lot 6, Block 16, Carli & Schulenburg Addition. STILLWATER PLANNING COMMISSION PRESENT: Josephine Vania Bambara Avise Dean Miller (arrived 7:30 p.m:) Tom Farrell Allen Zepper Dean Marlette Russell Meister ABSENT: Douglas Seitz Ronald Newman Alfred Roepke DATE: June 27, 1983 TIME: 7:00 P.M. The chairman, Tom Farrell, called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Motion by Barbara Avise, seconded by Josephine Vania that the minutes from the meeting of May 23, 1983 be approved as written. Carried unanimously. CASE NO. 499 Phillip Jackson, 1004 S. Fourth Special Use Permit St., for upholstery business in a two-family district. Mr. Jackson states that he runs the business in a two -car garage. He does not intend to change his business procedure. Allen Zepper informed him that a 2x2' sign would be -allowed. Motion by Josephine Vania, seconded by Russell Meister to recommend approval of Special Use Permit. Motion carried unanimously. CASE NO. 500 James Gannon, 804 W. Laurel for Special Use Permit a building addition in a commercial zone 48x58 - body shop addition to existing business. Mr. Gannon showed blue prints of proposed addition. He states that where the new drive is shown it should create no problem because that particular part will have limited use. It will be for restoration of cars. The plan showed a fence.and Mr. Gannon is open to any suggestions of what type to construct. The building addition will be painted cement blocks (the same as existing building). Motion by Russell Meister, seconded by Josephine Vania to approve request for Special Use Permit. Motion unanimously carried. CASE NO. 501 George W. Seim, Jr. 1219 First St., Subdivision to subdivide Lot # 5 (S. 65 feet) - create a new parcel which would be 65 x 150' and tWe balance of 35' would become part of Lot 6, Block 16, Clari & Sch.ulenberg Addition.
