Case No. 528 - Jon Ludwig, 713 North Fourth Street l' setback variance and variance for 6' between buildings for a garage; front yard variance for front porch. 2. Case No. 529 - Russ Syverson, 920 S. 4th Avenue 5' sideyard variance and 5' between buildings for single car garage. 3. Case No. 530 - James D. Chandler, 2467 Croixwood Blvd. Special Use to own and operate a crown and bridge dental laboratory, providing at a reasonable cost with the highest quality, a service to the dentists of the area. STILLWATER PLANNING COMMISSION PRESENT: Thomas -Farrell Dean Miller Dean Marlette Josephine Vania Allen Zepper Douglas Seitz Rob Hamlin Ron Newman ABSENT: Colleen Mlecoch Russell Meister DATE: April 23, 1984 TIME: 7:00 P.M. Chairman Josephine Vania called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. Minutes from the meeting of March 26, 1984 were not made available to the Commission members. CASE -NO. 528 Jon Ludwig, 713 N. Fourth St. for 11setback Variance variance and variance for 6' between build- ings for a garage; front yard variance for front porch. Mr. Ludwig explained his plans. He would like to add a single -car garage and add a front porch. He states the neighbors have similar porch lines close to the sidewalk. The porch will not be enclosed. He simply would like to change the lines of the house by adding the porch. It would not be feasible for him to build the garage in the backyard because of a hill. Mr. Ludwig was informed if the request is approved he will need building permits. Motion by Tom Farrell seconded by Dean Miller to approve variances for front yard porch and for garage providing that appropriate permits are obtained. Motion not carried - 3 yes, 4 no (Vania, Marlette, Hamlin, Newman). Motion by Dean Miller, seconded by Tom Farrell to approve of variance for garage and table request for porch variance for one month. Mr. Ludwig was informed the Commission would like to see detailed plan of porch. Motion carried - 5 yes, 2 no (Marlette, Vania) CASE NO. 529 Russ Syverson, 920 S. 4th Avenue for Variance 5' sideyard variance and 5' between buildings for single car garage.
