CASE -NO. 528 Jon Ludwig, 713 N. Fourth St. for 11setback
Variance variance and variance for 6' between build-
ings for a garage; front yard variance
for front porch.
Mr. Ludwig explained his plans. He would like to add a single -car
garage and add a front porch. He states the neighbors have similar
porch lines close to the sidewalk. The porch will not be enclosed.
He simply would like to change the lines of the house by adding the porch.
It would not be feasible for him to build the garage in the backyard
because of a hill. Mr. Ludwig was informed if the request is approved he
will need building permits.
Motion by Tom Farrell seconded by Dean Miller to approve variances for
front yard porch and for garage providing that appropriate permits are
obtained. Motion not carried - 3 yes, 4 no (Vania, Marlette, Hamlin,
Newman).
Motion by Dean Miller, seconded by Tom Farrell to approve of variance
for garage and table request for porch variance for one month. Mr. Ludwig
was informed the Commission would like to see detailed plan of porch.
Motion carried - 5 yes, 2 no (Marlette, Vania)
CASE NO. 529 Russ Syverson, 920 S. 4th Avenue for
Variance 5' sideyard variance and 5' between
buildings for single car garage.
