Josephine Vania gave a review of the Council's action on October's cases. Motion by Dean Marlette, seconded by Dean Miller to approve the minutes from the meeting of October 22, 1984. Unanimously carried. CASE NO. 568 Rick L. Anderson, 812 N. William St. for 7' variance for building separation from neighbor's garage Mr.. Anderson explained that he has purchased a garage and would like to have it moved. The garage is 16' wide and 20' deep (one car). He states there are three cars at the residence and if the garage is placed back on the lot where proposed, there would be enough room to angle park two of the cars and everyone could get in and out with no problem. He also .explained that the neighbor's garages would be lined up and would look more appealing if his was set back. A neighbor, Richard Sandahl, was present and stated he has no objection to the plan. Mr. Anderson was informed that if the variance is granted he would have to meet with the building code (special sheetrock). Mr. Sandahl said there originally had been a barn only 2' from his garage for several years. Motion by Dean Marlette, seconded by Thomas Farrell, to deny request for variance because there is no real hardship indicated. Discussion followed. Motion denied. (3 yes, Marlette, Farrell, Fontaine 4 no, Vilmo, Miller, Hamlin, Vania) Motion by Rob Hamlin, seconded by Dean Miller to approve -request for 7' variance with the stipulation that the building code be complied with due to reduced footage. Motion carried (4 yes, Vilmo, Miller, Hamlin, Vania — 3 no Marlette, Farrell, Fontaine) Jerry Fontaine reported on the planning workshop he attended. He said it was very informative and he will copy some of the material he received. A notice of the meeting will be sent to members. Motion by Thomas Farrell, seconded by Dean Miller, to adjourn at 7:55 P.M. Gwen Monty, Secretary
