NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
THE STILLWATER PLANNING COMMISSION WILL MEET ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 21, 1985 AT
7:00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL, 216 NO. FOURTH STREET.
AGENDA
1. Approval of Minutes - September 23, 1985.
2, Case No. 612 - Gilbert Anderson, 2021 Schulenberg - Request for Setback
Variances in order to construct garage.
3. Case No. 613 - Lina Fischer, 1006 McKusick Road - Request for Major
Subdivision and Preliminary Plat for property located at approximately 805
Amundson Drive.

The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman, Gerald Fontaine,
Dean Miller arrived at 7:05 p.m.
CASE NO. 612
Variance
Gilbert Anderson, 2021 Schulenberg for
setback variance .of 16" on side to build
a garage.
Mr. Anderson explained that he would like to tear down the present
garage and rebuild it a little larger (1316" x 281). There are dry
wells on both sides which means the garage can't be moved south or
west.
Motion by Jerry Fontaine, seconded by Nancy Putz to approve request
for variance -with the stipulation that the fire code be followed.
Carried unanimously.
CASE NO. 613 Lina Fischer, 1006 McKusick Rd. for
Major Subdivision and major subdivision and preliminary plat
Preliminary Plat approval for property located at approx.
805 Amundson Drive
Bruce Folz explained the proposed plan. He states there is concern
about potential erosion.
Motion by Gerald Fontaine, seconded by Helen Miller to approve
preliminary plat of entire proposal and also final plat approval
of the first 3 lots shown as Phase I subject to the City Engineer's
recommendations. Motion carried unanimously.
Dean Miller reviewed the Council's decisions on last month's cases.
He also stated there is a possibility the Council will give the Planning
Commission authority so that not all cases would need to be heard by
the Council.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to propose to the
Council that the Planning Commission meet the third Monday of each
month and that the results would be reviewed by the Council on the
first Tuesday of the next month.
