A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLAT
FOR ECUMEN STILLWATER/OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH
CASE NO. 2017-48
WHEREAS, Anne Stanfield of Ecumen and Pastor Dale Stiles of Our Savior's
Lutheran Church ("applicants") have submitted an application for the development of
the properties located at 114 Brick Street South and 1616 Olive Street West, legally
described on Exhibit A, and are requesting approval of:
1) Final Planned Unit Development for the Current Phase: Ecumen Stillwater
2) Preliminary Plat for Ecumen Stillwater/Our Savior's Lutheran Church
3) Final Plat for Ecumen Stillwater/Our Savior's Lutheran Church,as depicted
on Exhibit B
4) Special Use Permit for Senior Living Facility in the RA,One-Family
Residential Zoning District
WHEREAS, on October 11, 2017 the Planning Commission held a public hearing
on the associated requests and, upon hearing testimony from the public, recommended
conditional approval; and
WHEREAS, on October 23, 2017 the Park and Recreation Commission discussed
the associated requests and recommended conditions of approval; and
WHEREAS, on November 7, 2017 the City Council held a public hearing on the
requests and found them to be compatible with the neighborhood and consistent with
the City's Zoning Ordinances, Subdivision Ordinances, and Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Stillwater hereby approves the Final Plat for Ecumen Stillwater/Our Savior's Lutheran
Church, as depicted on Exhibit B.
Enacted by the City Council of the City of Stillwater,Minnesota this 7th day of November,
2017.
