MINUTES OF 1,FIETING SEPTEMBER 14, 1959
Meeting called to order by Chairman Stennes at 7:45 PNI.
Roll Ball: Absent: Hooley & Brosell.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Old Business: By agreement old business was set aside so that represent-
atives from several firms of professional planners could be heard.
Firms attending meeting were:
Community Planning & Design Associates, represented by Pyr. Tom Hodne.
Nason-Law Wehrman & Knight
Mbrell & Nichols, represented by Mr. Jaracs Knight.
Sherman S. Hasbrouch Planning Consultant, represented by Mr. Kenneth Greene:.
Carl L. Gardner & Associates, in writing only, from James Hawks.
Each representative was allotted 2 hour to explain the program submitted.
Following this the commission upon motion by Mr. Hagen, seconded by Mr. F-Iand-
evidt, voted to consider only the programs from Morell & Nichols end Community
Planning & Design Associates.
Mr. Mulvey then explained the tentative plan by the State Department of High-
ways for construction of a highway through the city.
Chairman Stennes is to contact the Dept. of Highways for information.
The secretary was instructed to arrange a meeting with the City Council as
soon as possible.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
