HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-04-29 CPC MIN April 29, 1960 Meeting called to order at 7:45P.M. by Chairman Stennes Roll call showed the following present: Stennes, Handevidt, Brosell, Johnston Bergen, Mulvey, Hooley Absent: Hagen, Crane, Dewhurst, Schwantes Present: Mr. Hodne Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved Old Business: Dr. Blomquist's request for a non-conforming use of Smith Property at 1003 S. Third St. Mr. Hodne read his recommendation that the permit be denied. Discussion by members followed. It was moved that the recommendation be accepted and be forwarded to the council in its entirety. Moved by Mulvey, seconded by Handevidt, passed. Tom Hodne continued his explanation of the interim plan, Phase I. He submitted an addendum to his April 18th preliminary report. George Stennes went over each point of the April 18th report for discussion;) and modification by the group. Mr. Hodne presented Phase I of the Zoning Ordinance outline; a brief discussion followed. It was moved by Mulvey, seconded by Bergen that we adopt interim plan recommendation Phas I and the the plan be or.esented to the council at the earliest possible date. Motion carried. Hooley's request for a non-conforming use of property west of the South Hill Market for a permanent driveway was discussed. It was suggested that the matter be referred to Hodne for his opinion.
