Kaliiioff (that it was the last Tuesday) MYRON MELSTROM JAMES MULVEY Jack Hooley reviewed the parking situation. The dump problem was discussed. Mr. Bergen reported on a "blight tour" of the city taken by Mr. Bergen, Mr. Melstrom, Mr. Olsen and Mr. Thompson. This is the Ordanance Control (Enforcement)` Committee. There was a discussion of the extent of the jurisdiction of the Planning Committee in blight areas. It was moved, seconded and carried, that the Wilmes property be demolished as it is in deplorable condition.. It was moved, seconded and carried that the: Hoppe property be demolished as it is in a deplorable condition and a health hazard.. These two motions are recommendations to the council. It was moved, seconded and carried that we call to the attgntion of the Council, the possibility of including North Stillwater in any Urban Renewal Pro j eat that might be underbakern.. We discussed whether we should recommend to the council that they put a time limit on building permits. Mr. Charlsen and Mr. Johnston were asked by the chairman to in- vestigate the property of William Cicero on So.- Third St. The request was for a three-plex which violates ordinance 383. The committee will report at the April 28 meeting. There was a request to allow a photography shop in a private home at 1509 W. Fine. It was moved, seconded and esrried that we recommend to the council that this request be demied because it is in an RA zone and according to the City Attorney, photography is not a profession. Mr. Olsen gave Mr. Hagen's report on the organization of the Washington County Planning Committee to which the City is giving $200. ST11.I.11'AT R . . .
