IVERSON LESTER R. BROWER, ADMINISTRATOR & CLERK-TREASURER DONALD NOLDE WILLIAM POWELL ROGER PETERSON Regular meeting 26, April 1966 City Hall 7:30 P.M. Present: John Condon Fred Kalinoff Harold Hohlt Richard Olsen Al Bergen Charles Thompson, Exoffico Member v Meeting called to order by chairman, John Condon. Mr. Foss, a building contractor, presented the commission with a revised plan of a colonial-style, 12-unit apartment building, with two units to be used as law offices and the remainder to consist of 5-2 bedroom apartments and 5-1 bedroom apartments. This proposed building would be located on the corner of Fourth and Myrtle Streets, with 150' on Fourth Street and 601 on Myrtle Street. There would be entrances on both streets. The building would consist of two complete floors plus a basement. This had been referred back to the planning commission for reconsi- deration with a completely different building. This revised plan has not been presented to the Council. „according to the requirements, there should be 1.3% parking for the apartments and 1.3 parking for the law offices. This plan only has enough room for 13 parking stalls, which would comply with the parking requirements for the apartments, but not for the law offices. Fred Kalinoff moved that this be denied on the grounds that there is not enough land and parking space and that the corner should be rede- signed for beautification for the City as a whole. Harold Hohlt secon- ded. Motion carried unanimous. The second item on the agenda was the proposed building of a house 381 x 28' on Brick Street, north of Myrtle Street (Lot 19). The house would set back from Brick Street 251. The lot is owned by Eigel Thompson. The building location on the lot would be non-conforming as is the lot. This land was platted, rearranged and accepted by the City of Stillwater.
