RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ADDITION OF ADDITIONAL LICENSE PREMISES
ACQUIRED BY NACHO MAMA'S
WHEREAS, a request from Brenda Ryder, license holder of Nacho Mama's to add additional
space in front of the building they occupy and have acquired as an amendment to their
liquor license premises located at 312 Main Street South; and
WHEREAS, the request meets State Statute restrictions that the premises must be
"compact and continuous"; and
WHEREAS, adding this to their licensed premises, it would allow the Nacho Mama's to
expand their establishment.
WHEREAS, as part of the review of the original application request in 2005, Nacho
Mama's owners were notified on August 12, 2005 by the Police Chief that alcohol could not
be served on their deck because alcohol cannot be taken onto a public sidewalk; and
WHEREAS, a solution was presented to Nacho Mama's to provide a mini -bar on the deck
for alcohol service on the deck; and
WHEREAS, the mini -bar has been removed and should be replaced as agreed upon in 2005.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stillwater City Council hereby approves the additional licensed
premises located at 312 Main Street South, conditioned upon the following:
1. Approvals from the Community Development, Building Inspections, Fire
Departments, Minnesota AGED and Washington County Department of Health.
2. Placement of mini -bar on patio and no service of alcohol using the public
sidewalk.
Adopted by the Stillwater City Council this 21St day of June, 20
