HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-027 (SUP Lily Lake Mechanical Upgrades) RESOLUTION 2016-027 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR STILLWATER AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT'S LILY LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MECHANICAL UPGRADES CASE NO.2016-02 WHEREAS, the Stillwater Area School District made application for approval of a Special Use Permit amendment for the installation of a new 160 ton chiller and associated enclosure to be located on the north side of the Lily Lake Elementary School, located at 2003 West Willard Street on property legally described as: See Exhibit A;and WHEREAS, on January 13, 2016 the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the requested Special Use Permit amendment, and on a 7-1 vote recommended approval with conditions; and WHEREAS, on February 2, 2016 the City Council held a public hearing on the requested Special Use Permit amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Stillwater hereby approves the requested Special Use Permit amendment with the following conditions: 1. The exterior facade of the enclosure shall be of the same or complimentary color and tone as the existing building facade. 2. The project shall be completed according to the plans on file with the Community Development Department. 3. The property owner shall secure the necessary building permit prior to the installation of the mechanical upgrades and enclosure.
