HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-060RESOLUTION NO. 2013-060 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 2013 -012 BY ADDING RENTAL FEE RATES FOR DOWNTOWN PERGOLA AND SEATING AREA WHEREAS, interest has been expressed in reserving the City's pergola and seating area in the downtown pedestrian walkway area; and WHEREAS, the City's Fee Schedule as established in Resolution 2013 -012 does not include rental rates for reserving the pergola or the seating area; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish rental rates for reserving these facilities. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stillwater City Council hereby adopts the following rates for reserving the pergola or the seating area: $100 refundable damage deposit plus one of the following fees: $50 /day for Stillwater residents $100 /day for non - Stillwater residents BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following conditions apply to reserving either the downtown pedestrian area's pergola or seating area: 1. The maximum group size that may reserve the pergola or the seating area is 50. Any group larger than that must obtain an event permit or a special event permit, depending upon the specifics of the gathering. 2. The walkway must remain open for use by the general public. If it is planned to be closed for the exclusive use of the group, then the group must obtain an event permit or a special event permit, depending upon the specifics of the gathering. 3. The Water Street crosswalk must remain unobstructed. If closure of Water Street is planned, then the group must obtain a special event permit. 4. No tents or vendor booths will be allowed. If they are planned, then the group must obtain an event permit or a special event permit, depending upon the specifics of the gathering.
