The Heritage Preservation Commission reviewed and discussed the Context
Study with Bob Vogel. Comments on the study include:
- A mastadon tusk was found on Third and Chestnut Streets - no reference.
- No detailed mention of lumbering men.
- Brent Peterson is concerned about references to schools:
Exact dates on the schools include:

Tim Stefan felt the mapping needs to be more detailed. Howard Lieberman
liked the study.
Jeff Johnson stated not enough information has been provided on
residential areas.
The Commission feels Joan Daniels and Anita Buck will give some good
additional insight on the residential areas. They suggested Bob talk to
them about the study.
Bob Vogel stated it was not the intention to write or rewrite the history
of Stillwater. This study is intended to put Stillwater's history into a
logical order and use the study as a planning tool.
Jeff Johnson feels some of the high architectural properties have not been
identified.
The Heritage Preservation Commission will review the study again at their next
regular meeting. The contract completion for this study is July 29, 1993.

which was planned to be adopted by the City Council was too restrictive.

discussion, nobody could find an answer to the issue.
