Due to the absence of the Mayor, Councilwoman Bodlovick, was named temporary chairman for this meeting. PRESENT: Councilwoman Bodlovick, Councilmen Mahoney and Powell ABSENT: None LATE: Councilman Peterson and Mayor Junker ALSO PRESENT: City Finance Director - Nile Kriesel City Clerk - Dorothy Schnell Press: None Citizens: None 1. This was the day and time set for the public hearing on the proposed Revenue Sharing Budget for the fiscal year 1979. — The notice of the hearing was published in the Stillwater Evening Gazette, the official newspaper of the City on Decemger 20, 1978. The temporary chairman opened the hearing. There were not icitizens present regarding this hearing. MR. KRIESEL explained some of the items in the budget to the Council members. The hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Powell, seconded by Mayor Junker, a resolution was introduced "APPROVING THE REVENUE SHARING BUDGET FOR 1979 - ENTITLEMENT IX AND X ". AYES -- Councilwoman Bodlovick, Councilmen Mahoney, Peterson, Powell and Mayor Junker NAYS- -None (see resolutions) 2. On motion of Councilman Mahoney, seconded by Mayor Junker, a resolution was introduced "ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR 1979 ". AYES -- Councilwoman Bodlovick, Councilmen Mahoney, Peterson, Powell and Mayor Junker NAYS- -None (see resolutions) MISCELLANEOUS Discussion fdlowed on the contract for Local 49 for the Street and Parks Department. Mr. Swenson informed Mr. Kriesel that they will be coming back with a 55C per hour salary increase for 1979 and the Council indicated that this will not be acceptable. There was also some discussion in other areas that should be considered for the 1980 budget proposals. - The meeting adjourned at 12:30 P. M. Attest - Citytlerk Mayor
