SPECIAL MEETING
The meeting was called to order by President Junker.
PRESENT: Councilwoman Bodlovick, Councilmen Mahoney, Peterson,
Powell and Mayor Junker
Absent: None
Also Present: Finance Director- Coordinator - Kriesel
City Attorney - Magnuson
POLICE CAR BIDS
On motion of Councilman Mahoney, seconded by Councilman Peterson, the contract
for the three police cars was awarded to Dependable Ford - Mercury, Inc.,
Stillwater for a net bid price of $14,310.00 which included the trade -in of
Squad 204, 205 and 206, all 1978 Dodges, and waived the minor irregularities
in their bid. (all in favor)
SALE OF GLASER SERVICE STATION
On motion of Councilman Peterson, seconded by Councilman Powell, the City
Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for the sale of the Glaser Service
Station building and gas tanks, said bids to be returnable Decemger 12, 1978
at 7:30 P. M. (all in favor)
LOCAL NO. 91 UNION NEGOTIATIONS
Jerry Serfling and representatives of Local No. 91 appeared before the City
Council regarding their Union Contract for 1979.
The Council accepted the proposal of $70.00 across the board
increase presented by this bargaining group and indicated that
this would be their final action and also denied any longevity
pay for this contract.
The meeting adjourned at 7:10 P. M.
