Councilmen Mahoney, Peterson, Powell and Mayor Junker Councilwoman Bodlovick Acting City Clerk, Schnell; City Attorney, Kimmel Chairman of the Planning Commission, Jeff Zoller Terry Rawstern, Arthur Palmer and his architect, Mr. Frank Clark - - -On motion of Councilman Peterson, seconded by Councilman Mahoney, a resolution TO $1,800,000 AND "AMENDING T0 6 25,00 CHANGING QARE FEET FOR ESTIMATED HEI COST GREELEY STREET CLINIC" AYES -- Councilmen Mahoney, Peterson, Powell and Mayor Junker NAYS - -None (see resolutions) - -- Discussion was held regarding the proposed project at the Lowell Inn which has been approved by the City Council and the Planning Commission. JEFF ZOLLER stated that the Pla -ning Commission approved the setbacks and the Special Use Permit for the temporary cooler and the construction adjacent to it. The questions was raised as to whether or not the City could be sued in case of a fire and he stated that he could not say that we would not be sued. MR. PALMER AND MR. CLARK showed the Council detailed plans of the future plans for the Inn. The mobile unit that was moved in will be for the storage and selection of wine to be served with the food from the outside cookery. The windows in the main building have been bricked in with insulation of gyp board and abestos with about a two hour fire rating. There will be chipboard placed on the outside of the mobile unit and the addition to same. On motion of Councilman Powell, seconded by Councilman Peterson, the Council granted the necessary variance from the Building Code providing that Mr. Palmer and Mr. Lawson both agree on what type of fire fighting and fire prevention equipment can be resolved for the rest of the building for Fire Zone No. 1 for the Lowell Inn's request made under Case No. 273. (all in favor) - -- Discussion was held regarding the approval of Contractor Licenses on a temporary basis by members of the City s Staff so that Contractor's do not have to wait for the next Council meeting for the final approval of their license in order to is proceed with any construction. The Council concurred that they would go along with this as long as the fee is paid and the necessary insurance is filed with the City and there are no problems with said contractors. - --On motion of Councilman Peterson, seconded by Councilman Powell the following Contractor's Licenses were approved: (all in favor) COUNCIL CHAMBER Stillwater, Minnesota Present: Absent: Also Present: Citizens: Christ Madsen 6063 Panama Avenue, Sun Frames, Inc. (all in favor) RESOLUTIONS The following resolution was read and on roll call was unanimously adopted: 1.
