Magnuson Stillwater City Attorney 324 Main Street Stillwater, Minnesota 55082 Re: Frank M. Runk Estate Property Dear Mr. Magnuson: Joseph A. Nolde, Jr. has engaged Twin City Testing to test for contaminants on the Frank M. Runk property. Enclosed is a copy of what it proposes to do. On the basis of this preliminary test, which the estate will pay for, perhaps an agreement for purchase can be put together contingent upon the results of the test. I~ the event the findings of Twin City Testing indicate that further work is necessary the City could either agree to accept the property "as is", accept the property with a limit on the obligation of the estate for any further work that may be required or rescind the purchase with return of the earnest money. I would appreciate hearing from you at your earliest convenience. ~ours, John H.
