HomeMy WebLinkAbout0960 Ord (Liquor License) ORDINANCE NO.: 960 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 43 OF THE STILL WATER CITY CODE "LIQUOR LICENSE" The City Council of the City of Stillwater does ordain: 1. AMENDING. A clause shall be added to Section 43-74, Hours and days of sale, Subd. 2 to hereafter read as follows: " Subd. 2. A restaurant, bowling center, club or hotel as defined in state law which has facilities for serving not less than 25 guests at one time and which has an on-sale intoxicating liquor license for consumption on the premises may serve intoxicating liquors in conjunction with the serving of food at tables between the hours of 10:00 a.m. on Sundays and 1 :00 a.m. on Mondays, and on any Sunday followed by the Monday observance of the holidays Memorial Day. July 4th. and Labor Day between the hours of 10:00 a.m. on Sunday and until 2:00 a.m. on Mondays, provided that such establishment obtains a Sunday sales license and complies with the Minnesota Clean Air Act, Minn. Stat. SI44.411, et seq. A certificate of such compliance must be filed with the city clerk prior to the commencement of sales by such licensees as permitted by this subsection." (Emphasis added for illustrative purposes only.) 2. SAVING. In all other ways, the City Code will remain in full force and effect. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance will be in effect from and after its passage and publication according to law. 4.
