ORDINANCE NO. 795 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STILLWATER CITY CODE CHAPTER 43 LIQUOR BY INCREASING THE LICENSING FEES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER DOES ORDAIN: Section I. AMENDING. Stillwater City Code ~43.01 "Intoxicating Liquor" Sub. 4, "Fees" is changed to hereafter read as follows: "Subd. 4. FEES. The annual license fee is as follows: For an on-sale license - $2,300; for an on-sale license issued to Clubs - $350.00; for an off-sale liquor license - $200; and for an on-sale wine license $200. The annual fee for special license for Sunday sales, as authorized by Minnesota Statute 340A.504, Subd. 3, is $200. All licenses will expire on the last day of December in each year, fees will be a pro rata share of the annual license fee. All fees must be paid into the City General Fund; and upon rejection of any application for a license, the license fee paid and the insurance policy of the applicant will be returned. In addition to the above fee, there is hereby imposed an investigation fee of $250 for any newly issued on-sale license, and for the transfer of an existing on-sale license a transfer fee of $250 which includes the cost of investigation. " Section II. AMENDING. Stillwater City Code ~43.02 "Nonintoxicating Liquor" Subd. 4 (3), "License Fees" is changed to hereafter read as follows: "(3) The annual fee for an on-sale license is $100. The annual fee for an off-sale license is $50." Section III. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law, and for licenses issued for the calendar year 1996.
