AGENDA:
1.
Approval of Minutes - March 12, 1986.
2. Ann Cummings (and a group from Northland Park - Croixwood
Area) - Discussion of tennis courts.
3. Update from Dick Blekum on construction of new building or
use of building that was moved in - Lily Lake Parking Lot.
4. Update on water heater at Lily Lake - i.e. meeting with
Hoffman Heating and Northern States Power - if possible.

5. Commission take a ride to look at City park facilities or
make arrangements to do so at the May meeting.

STILLWATER RECREATION MEETING
Apri 1 16, 1986
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson, Wayne Wohlers at 7:00 P.M.
Members Present: Linda Kluy, Brad MacDonald, Wayne Wohlers.
Members Absent: Jim Swanson, John Rahm, Tom Thoreson, Duane Nelson,
John Benson.
Also Present: Dick Blekum, Bob Bielenberg and Members of Croixwood
(concerned about conditions of tennis courts)
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approval could not be made because there were not enough members present to
form a quorum.
MEETING WITH CROIXWOOD TENNIS GROUP
The tennis group stated their concern of deterioration of Northland Park
Tennis Courts. Not only are the courts getting unfit for play, but are to the
point of being "unsafe". Dick Blekum answered questions and solutions, stating
that there is $10,000 budgeted to bring the courts back to good condition.
(This also includes the repair of the Lily Lake Courts.)
~ METAL BUILDING UPDATE
Dick Blekum has been in contact with Johnson House Movers and an agreement has
been made to haul it away!
UPDATE ON FURNACE/WATER HEATER AT LILY LAKE ARENA
Bob Bielenberg reported that after a meeting with Davis Plumbing, the problem
could be corrected at a cost of $557.00. The members present agreed to go
ahead with the repairs.
LIFEGUARD WAGES
Bob Bielenberg reported that time was getting short to hire Lifeguards and a
"wage scale had to be set. The members present agreed that a starting salary
would be $4.25 per hour. Sue Pearson (2nd year) would receive $4.50 per hour
and the head Lifeguard (4th year) would receive $5.15 per hour. All above
rates to be approved by the City Council.
NEXT MEETING
The date and time for the next meeting will be May 21,1986 at 6:30 P.M. in the
City Hall Council Chambers.
