The Ward Network has asked for input into the Compo Plan. The Planning Commission will meet in November to finalize the Comp Plan and then it will be submitted to the City Council. Lecuyer Subdivision - Park Dedication Ann reported that this is part of the last phase of the Wildpines subdivision. The Board discussed whether there is any suitable land or a need for a neighborhood park in this subdivision. It was determined that in-lieu of park fees would be preferable in order to purchase more suitable park land. Motion by Mike Polehna, seconded by Del Peterson to accept in-lieu of park fees for the Lecuyer subdivision. All in favor. Friends of Stillwater Parks Judy Gulden and Mary Peroceschi met with the Board to discuss the Friends of Stillwater Parks. They envision a pool of volunteers and funding to support the Stillwater parks. They hope to make the parks more handicapped accessible, and provide more flowers for the parks. They have received letters of support from the Stillwater Downtown Council, Maureen Palmer of the Lowell Inn, and Peter Polga of the Courage Center. They will present their ideas to the Stillwater Senior Citizens tomorrow, and will be presenting to other community groups. The S1. Paul Foundation has agreed to administer the funds. Unfinished Business Mike Polehna reported that there will be a meeting Wednesday at 5:30 on the one percent sales tax issue.
