City Clerk Mary Lou Johnson asked for clarification of eddlers'
licenses. Lask year, a peddler was given a license f r a push
cart, but the license excluded selling in the parks. She was
selling on the street adjacent to Lowell Park during the Art Fair
and was asked to leave. The Board was asked if peddlers should be
allowed to sellon Levee Road and other streets adjacen to the
park. The Board determined that Levee Road is part of Lowell
Park. Peddlers should be excluded from the park and the park
includes exits, entrances and any roads within the park.
