STILLWATER PARKS AND RECREATION
BOARD MEETING
October 27, 1992
MEMBERS PRESENT: Wayne Wohlers, Douglas Hartman, David Junker,
Jim Gannon, Alan Liehr, Ken Mei ter, and
Roberta Opheim
MEMBERS ABSENT: steve Joyce, Tom Lillesve, Rob McGarr , and
Mike polehna
ALSO PRESENT: Bob Bielenberg and Tim Thomsen
Stillwater resident Mike Robinson attended the meeting.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by Doug Hartman, seconded by Alan Liehr to appr ve the
minutes of the September 22, 1992 meeting as submitted All in
favor.
OLD BUSINESS
Ken Meister asked if the Board has any input into park

Bob reported that there are no problems so far. The i

NEW BUSINESS
Tim reported that Lowell Park has been seeded and clean

Tim reported that a Croixwood resident recently cleared a 50-foot
path on City-owned parkland from his residence to L ng Lake.
Trees and shrubs were cut down, and he built a dock and fire pit.
The police were called to the residence, but no crimin 1 charges
have been filed. Tim told the resident to remove the dock and
fire pit, etc. The Board determined that a letter shou d be sent
to the City Council notifying them of this incident a d asking
that the law be enforced and that notification be sen to all
property owners bordering the lake to inform them that the
parkland and wetland is owned and controlled by the Cit .
NEXT MEETING
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10
7:00 p.m. The meeting is changed from the fourth Tuesd
of the Thanksgiving holiday. Roberta noted that the Ci
is holding a public information meeting on November 17
McKusick Lake Road.
