STILLWATER PARKS AND RECREATION
BOARD MEETING
April 25, 1990

Chairman Wohlers called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion by Mike Polehna, seconded by David Junker to ap rove the

CONCERTS IN LOWELL PARK
Lynn Bertalmio from the Downtown Council was present to
proposal for holding concerts in Lowell Park each
evening in August. Lynn explained that this is an eff

Ann Pung-Terwedo, Assistant City Planner, was present

Mr. Blekum requested that the event be held on the

Joan Traber, represnting the Rivertown Art Fair was p

Mike Polehna made a motion to approve the dates for the Rivertown
Art Fair for 1990. Rob McGarry seconded. All in favor.

OLD BUSINESS
The Board discussed the door closures on the side door at the
ice arena. Bob Bielenberg stated that the chains have b en removed
and he will be purchasing panic bars for emergency exit only.

The Parks and Recreation Board has scheduled a special
meeting on Wednesday, April 11, 1990, at 7:00 p.m.
at the Parks Building. The purpose of the meeting
is to hear an individual's request to use Lowell Park
for an antique boat show in July.
