APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by Jim Gannon, seconded by Rob McGarry to ap rove the minutes of April 11, 1989, as submitted. All in favor. . OLD BUSINESS Lily Lake Ballfield - Dick Blekum reported that he met with Jim Junker rega Lily Lake Ballfield. Mr. Blekum's estimate for the com the field is as follows: Backstop, $1600; Fencing, Dozing, $1000; Irrigation, $2500. Total=$16,700. Budget The Board discussed several options for obtaining needed. Al Liehr made a motion to use $5,000 balance bu purchase of tractor and backhoe, and $3700 out of Park fees to continue construction of Lily Lake Ballfield. R seconded. All in favor. BUDGET REOUESTS Dick Blekum reported that budget requests must be in Parks Department budget requests will include: Light d truck, $16,000; Infield preparation machine, $6,000; Te windscreen for Northland Park $1200; Shelter for Washin $6000; Shelter for Lowell Park, $8000; playground equ Meadowlark Park $8000; upgrade resurfacing beneath equipment as required for insurance, $5,000; Lights at ~50,OOO. Arena requests: Smart drive unit for compress $16,000; concession equipment, $1000; netting over goal Motion by Jim Gannon to submit the budget requests as seconded by Alan Liehr. All in favor. .
