Councilmember Thole introduced the following resolution, the
reading of which was dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 99-280
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
PROPOSED MODIFICATION BY THE CITY OF THE
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1,
THE MODIFICATION OF THE MODIFIED TAX INCREMENT
FINANCING PLANS RELATING TO TAX INCREMENT FINANCING
DISTRICT NOS. 1 THROUGH 7
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota (the
"City"), as follows:
Section 1. Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on Tuesday, November 16, 1999, at
approximately 7:00 p.m., to hold a public hearing on the following matters: (a) the proposed modification of
the Modified Tax Increment Financing Plans relating to Tax Increment Financing District Nos. 1 through 7
located therein (the "Modified Tax Increment Flnancing Plans"), pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota
Statutes, Sections 469.124 to 469.134 and 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as amended, to reflect increased
project costs, an increase in bonded indebtedness, increased tax increment and other revenues budgeted for Tax
Increment District No.4, an increase of the bonded indebtedness, increased tax increment and other revenues
budgeted for Tax Increment District No.1, and to authorize the making of loans and the repayment of loans
between the various tax increment financing districts and the various funds maintained by the City.
Section 2. Notice of Hearing: Filing of Program. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause
notice of the hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit "A", to be given as required by law, to
distribute copies of the proposed Modified Tax Increment Financing Plans (the "Plans") to the Board of
Commissioners of Washington County and the School Board of Independent School District No. 834, to place a
copy of the Plans on file in the City Clerk's Office at City Hall and to make such copy available for inspection
by the public no later than October 16, 1999.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Zoller , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Bealka, Cummings, Thole, Zoller, Kimble
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Stillwater,
Minnesota on October 5, 1999.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF STILLWATER
COUNTY OF WASHINGTON
STA TE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the "Council") of the City of
Stillwater, County of Washington, State of Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,
November 16, 1999, at approximately 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 216 North Fourth Street, Stillwater,
Minnesota, relating to the proposed modification of the Modified Tax Increment Financing Plans
relating to Tax Increment Financing District Nos. 1 through 7 located therein (the "Modified Tax
Increment Financing Plans"), pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections
469.124 to 469.134 and 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as amended, to reflect increased project
costs, increased projected tax increments, increased amount of tax increments for repayment of
bonds, both principal and interest attributable to the construction of an addition to the 81. Croix
Valley Sports Complex that is proposed for construction with the assistance of the City of
Mahtomedi, and to authorize the making of loans and the repayment of loans between the
various tax increment financing districts and the various funds maintained by the City.
A copy of the Modified Tax Increment Financing Plans will be on file and available for
public inspection at the office of the City Clerk.
All interested persons may appear at the hearing and present their views orally or in
writing.
