SDGDIG OPTION FOR 'I.'IlDlUt HIGII1IAY 36 AHD 1IEAl'Y.LKIlJ.l'tIj mE CI'l'Y'S ~IIU],...ln: m A BUIlD DECISION II!I mE :;uunmKll 1Yl1lllTlVlll Whereas, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has developed and presented to the City of Stillwater a staging plan for Trunk Highway 36 corridor i.Jnprovements; and Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of stillwater, that the City of Stillwater hereby accepts the Minnesota Department of Transportation staging option for Trunk Highway 36 corridor improvements; that certain design considerations can be reviewed by the City of Stillwater as design proceeds to ensure that the improvements impact favorably on affected cities. Be It Further Resolved, that the City Council of the City of Stillwater, reaffirms the City of Stillwater's cOllUllitment to a build decision for a new Interstate Bridge in the southern corridor and once again requests the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation and other Wisconsin and Federal decision makers to finally decide that a new South Corridor Interstate Bridge is necessary to address re<;Jional as well as local traffic needs.
