RESOLUTION NO. 92-165

RESOLUTION VACATING PART OF W. ANDERSON STREET
WHEREAS, a petition was presented praying for vacation of a
portion of W. Anderson Street, City of stillwater, Minnesota,
hereinafter described; and,
WHEREAS, the Council determined that the petition was
sufficient; and that the City is a Home Rule Charter City of the
third class and that it was proper for the City Council to proceed
with the vacation pursuant to Minn. Stat. 5440.135; and,
WHEREAS, at a meeting duly called for that purpose, the City
Council did on the 4th day of August, 1992, determine that the
proposed vacation would not interfere with or defeat the public
interest or adversely affect the public, and that it would be in
the best interest of the City of stillwater that a portion of the
street be returned to the tax roles.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
city of stillwater, that the petition be granted in the form
hereafter set forth and that the following part of W. Anderson
Street, as presently laid out and platted, be and the same is
hereby vacated:
All that part of W. Anderson Street in the recorded plat
of Holcombe's 2nd Addition, Washington County, Minnesota,
described as follows:
Lying between the west line of S. Everett Street and the
east line of S. Greeley Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution duly
certified by the City Clerk shall be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder, Washington county, Minnesota.
