RESOLUTION NO. 91-196
A RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL OF MINNESOTA
LAWFUL GAMBLING PERMIT TO
ST. CROIX VALLEY HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, The St. Croix Valley Hockey Association, Stillwater, Minnesota has
submitted an application to the City of Stillwater, requesting City approval
of a pending Minnesota lawful gambling application permit, and
WHEREAS, representatives of the organization appeared before the City Council
and demonstrated to the City Council that the organization is collecting
gambling monies for lawful purposes, and
WHEREAS, the organization agreed to abide by the provisions of Stillwater
Ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Stillwater approves of the
gambling license requested by the organization for the St. Croix Valley Hockey
Association gambling operation at Brines Restaurant & Bar, 219 So. Main St.,
Stillwater, Minnesota. The Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the
acknowledgment on the permit application, and are to attach a copy of this
Resolution to the application to be submitted to the Department of Gaming.
Enacted by the Stillwater City Council this 1st day of October, 1991.
