(o )" 0 J."", f Modi W~don, City Clerk ' ( (' r r , RESOLUTION NO. 94-63 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT & PREPARATION OF PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS, NORTHLAND AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS, L.1. 296 WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 1st day of February, 1994, fixed a date for a council hearing on the proposed improvement of Northland Avenue, from CSAH No. 12 on the north, to the dead end of Northland on the south, to the south of its intersection with Sunset Avenue; AND WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 28th day of February, 1994, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution adopted the 28th day of February, 1994. 2. Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. RESOLUTION NO. 94-64 APPROVAL OF 1994 RECYCLING GRANT APPLICATION NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Stillwater, Minnesota, that the 1994 Municipal Waste Reduction and Curbside Recycling Grants Program Application is hereby approved. GREELEY STREET AND CURVE CREST BOULEVARD NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota, that the application for Payment No.2 to Peoples Electric for the signal system at South Greeley Street and Curve Crest Boulevard in the amount of $13,534.65, is hereby approved. Adopted by Council this 28th day of February, 1994. a./~~ MAYOR 0/':_ ATTEST: ~ Cf)~L,......_ ITY CLERK II (" r (' RESOLUTION NO. 94-66 A WARDING BID TO POLAR CHEVROLET FOR PURCHASE OF TWO SQUAD CARS WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for bids for the purchase of two squad cars, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; AND WHEREAS, the bid of Stillwater Ford of Stillwater, Minnesota, did not comply with bid specifications; AND WHEREAS, it appears that Polar Chevrolet of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Stillwater, Minnesota, that the purchase of two police squad cars from Polar Chevrolet for the submitted bid price of $28,848 is hereby approved.
