RESOLUTION NO. 94-155
APPROVING PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT
FOR BIDS FOR 1994 STREET IMPROVEMENTS,
1.1. 296, NORTHLAND AVENUE; 1.1. 297, WILLIAMS STREET
1.1. 298, SHERBURNE STREET; 1.1. 299, SO. SIXTH STREET
1.1. 300, MULBERRY STREET
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on February 22, 1994, for
1.1. 297,1.1. 298, 1.1. 299, and 1.1. 300 and on February 28, 1994, for 1.1. 296, the City
Consulting Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of:
Northland Avenue, from CSAH No. 12 on the north, to the dead end of Northland on the
south, to the south of its intersection with Sunset Avenue; North William Street from West
Mulberry Street on the north, to West Myrtle Street on the south; North Sherburne Street
from West Linden Street on the north to West Myrtle Street on the south; South Sixth Street
from Olive Street on the north to West Pine Street on the south; and West Mulberry Street
from North Owens Street on the west to North Everett Street on the east; and has presented
such plans and specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
STILL WATER, MINNESOTA:

Such plans and specifications are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in The Gazette and in the
Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement
under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published
for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received
by the City Clerk untilll a.m. on Monday, July 19 ,1994, at which time they will be
publicly opened in the Council Chambers of City Hall by the City Clerk and Engineer,
will then be tabulated and will be considered by the Council at 7 p.m., July 19, 1994,
in the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during
consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the
issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the
Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the Clerk for ten (10) percent of the amount of such bid.
Adopted by Council this 21st day of June, 1994.
