RESOLUTION NO. 97-60
RECEIVING AMENDED REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON
IMPROVEMENT OF OAK GLEN ADDITION TO STILL WATER DETENTION POND
NO.3 EMERGENCY HIGH WATER OVERFLOW IMPROVEMENTS
(JOB NO. 9623)
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted April 2, 1996, a report has
been prepared by Short, Elliot, Hendrickson, Inc. with reference to the Oak Glen Addition to
Stillwater Detention Pond No.3 Emergency High Water Overflow Improvements and this report
was received by the Council on February 4, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to resolution received the report on the above
improvements.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has provided funding information to be considered as
part of this report.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
STILL WATER, MINNESOTA:
1.
The Council hereby receives the amended feasibility report.
2. The Council will consider the storm water improvements in accordance with the report
and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement
of$99,125.
3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 15th day of April,
1997 at the Margaret Rivers Conference Room at the Stillwater Library at 7:4S p.m., or as
soon as possible thereafter, and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the Council this 4th day of March, 1997.
