HomeMy WebLinkAbout0591 Ord (Amend Building - Permit Fees)496 • ORDINANCE NO. 591 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING STILLWATER CITY CODE CHAPTER 33, SECTION 33.01, SUBD. 4, SUBD. 5, AND SUBD. 6. Section 1. That Subdivisions 4, 5, and 6 of Section 33.01 adopted February 12, 1980, of the Stillwater City Code is hereby repealed. Section 2. That a replacement Subdivision 4, 5, and 6 of Section 33.01 of the Stillwater City Code is hereby enacted as follows: Subd. 4 (1) Building Permit Fees: Total Valuation $500.00 to $2,000.00 Fee $10.00 for the first $500.00 plus $1.25 for each additional $100.00 or fraction thereof to and including $2,000.00. $2,001.00 to $25,000.00 $28.75 for the first $2,000.00 plus $5.00 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof to and including $25,000.00 $25,001.00 to $50,000.00 $143.75 for the first $25,000.00 plus $3.75 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000.00. $50,001.00 to $100,000.00 $237.50 for the first $50,000.00 plus $2.50 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof to and including $100,000.00 $100,001.00 and up $362.50 for the first $100,000.00 plus $2.00 for each additional $1,000.00 or fraction thereof. (3) Other Inspection Fees. (a) Inspections outside of normal business hours $15.00 per hr. (minimum charge - two hours) (b) Reinspection fee $15.00 each i«1 (c) Inspections for which no fee is specifically indicated $15.00 per hr. (d) Additional plan review required by changes, Additions, or revisions to approved plans $15.00 per hr. (minimum charge - hone hour) (e) Insurance Inspection $15.00 per hr. (minimum charge - hone hour) Subd. 5. PLUMBING PERMIT FEES. The following plumbing permit fees are hereby established. The person making application for a plumbing permit shall be responsible for correctly reporting the actual cost to the owner. Fees for plumbing permits shall be as follows: (1) Plumbing fixture opening (minimum charge - $10.00) (2) Reinspection fee (3) Swimming Pools (4) Inspection of water and/or sewer lines, trenches and hook-ups $3.00 each $10.00 each $15.00 each $15.00 each Subd. 6. MECHANICAL PERMIT FEES. The following Mechanical Permits are hereby established: (1) (2) For commercial application: 17, of the valuation of the mechanical improvements. For residential applications: (a) For the installation of relocation of each forced -air or gravity -type furnace or burner, including ducts and vents attached to such appliance, up to and including 100,000 BTU/h (b) Over 100,000 BTU/h $25.00 $25.00 (c) For each appliance or piece of equipment regulated by this code but not classed in other appliance categories or for which no other fee is listed in this code. $15.00 first 7.50 each additional (d) Fuel gas piping of one to four outlets ($.50 for each additional outlet) $15.00 (e) Duct work when not covered by furnace permit fee $15.00 • 497 • ORDINANCE N0. 591 - continued (f) For the installation or alteration of air conditioning unit 0 Section 3. Published: March 20, 1981 Attest: City CYerk David C. Junket, Mayor ORDINANCE N0. 592 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE WITHIN THE CITY OF STILLWATER. THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF STILLWATER DOES ORDAIN: Section 20, thereof, provisions: "h. Pole Section 31.01 of the Stillwater City Code, Subd. Regulation" is hereby amended by adding the following. shall be prohibited in all zoning districts. i. In residential zoning districts, all garages that are constructed or rebuilt that will have more than 750 square feet of floor area shall require a Special Use Permit." Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law. Adopted by the Council of the City of Stillwater this 21st day of April, 1981.
