HomeMy WebLinkAbout0540 Ord (Amend Sewer Service Charges & Collection)437 • ORDINANCE NO. 539 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 383, RELATING TO ZONING AND USERS OF PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF STILLWATER. The City Council of the City of Stillwater, Washington County, Minnesota, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 14 Ordinance No. 383 of the City of Stillwater shall be amended to read as follows: "SECTION 14. CA Business Districts Subdivision 1: Permitted Buildings and Uses, sub -paragraph G is hereby amended to read as follows: Service establishments such as barber or beauty shops; custom tailors; laundry agencies and self-service laundries; laundries, shoe repair shops; dry cleaning, pressing or tailoring shops; printing shops; radio and television stations; telephone exchanges and the like." SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law. Published: August 13, 1976 / i / i Mayor Attest: _,,,z:e �e, Acting) City Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 540 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 368 OF THE CITY OF STILLWATER REGULATING THE FIXING AND ESTABLISHING OF SEWER SERVICE CHARGES AND PROVIDING COLLECTION THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Stillwater, Washington County, Minnesota, does ordain as follows: SECTION I : Section I, Sub -paragraph B, of Ordinance No. 368 of the City of Stillwater, passed October 6, 1959, is hereby amended to provide as follows: SECTION I. B. In determining the sewer service charge to be paid for residential properties except multiple dwellings of more than two (2) units, the water charges for the months of January, February and March, of each year shall be used as the basis for computation for each quarter for the next succeeding four quarters. C. in determining charges for non-residential properties and multiple dwellings of more than two units the sewer charge shall be based upon actual consumption of water for the previous billing period. SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.
