THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' STILIWATER DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. Amending. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 383, the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended to provide that the area described as follows: All that part of the North half of the Northwest quarter of Section 32, the North half of tne Northeast quarter of Section 31, the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 29, all in Township 30, Range 20, Washington County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest quarter of Section 32; thence West 00 00' (assumed bearing) along the North line of the North half of the Northwest quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 727.7 feet to the actual point of beginning of tne land to be hereinafter described; thence South 00 00' a distance of 470.8 feet; thence South 34° 30' West 255 feet; thence South 55° 30' East 175.54 feet; thence South 320 08' 23" West 637.95 feet; thence South 89° 54' 08" West 1050 feet; thence North 9° 29' 32" East 253.86 feet; thence North 84° 22' 18" West 346.67 feet; thence South 71° 29' 06" West 226.74 feet; thence North 3° 51' 56" East 741.69 feet; thence South 86° 30' 38" East 410.76 feet; thence South 75° 04' 07" East 310.48 feet; thence North 30° 27' 56" East 394.46 feet; thence North 550 00' 29" East 183.1 feet more or less to the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Fairmeadows No. 3; thence East 0° 00' along the North line of said Lot 1 and its extension East to the Northwest corner of Lot 3, Block 4, said Fairmeadows No. 3; thence South along the West line of said Lot 3 to the North line of the Northwest quarter of said Section 32; thence East 0° 00' along said North line to the actual point of beginning. and That part of the South half of the Northwest quarter of Section 32, Township 30, Range 20, Washington County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at a point on the North line of said South half of Northwest quarter distant 480 feet East from the Northwest corner thereof; thence continuing East along said North line 961.23 feet; thence Southwesterly 330 feet along a line, the exten- sion of said line intersects the South line of said Louth half of Northwest quarter 575.49 feet East from the Southwest corner thereof; thence Northwesterly to the point of beginning. shall be zoned (RC), Multi -Family District, and further, the use of said property is hereby restricted to the erection and use of townhouse or row house dwellings only. Section 2. Amending. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 383 is further amended to provide that: That part of the North half of the Northwest quarter of Section 32, Township 30, Range 20, Washington County, Minnesota, described as commencing at the Northeast corner of said North half; thence West 0° 0', assumed bearing along the North line of said North half 727.7 feet; thence South 0° 00' a distance of 470.8 feet; thence South 34° 30' West 255 feet; thence South 55° 30' East 175.54 feet to the actual point of beginning of the land to be hereinafter described; then South 32° 08' 23" West 637.95 feet more or less to the South line of said North half of the Northwest quarter or Section 32; thence North 89° 54' 08" East along said South line 331.03 feet; thence North 32° 08' 23" East 449.82 feet; thence North 55° 30' West 280.24 feet to the actual point of beginning, shall be zoned (CA) Business District subject however to the restriction that such property, shall be restricted to the use of one local retail business of the "corner store" variety normally required for the daily needs of tne resiuents of the locality. • 4 (Ordinance No. 479-continued) • Section 3. Amending. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 383, is further amended to provide that: That part of the North half of the Northwest quarter or Section 32, Township 30, Range 20, Washington County, Minnesota described as commencing at the Northeast corner of said North half; thence West 0° 00', assumed bearing, along the North line of said North half 727.7 feet; thence South 0° 00' a distance of 470.8 feet to the actual point of beginning of the lane to be hereinafter described; then South 34° 30' west 255 feet; thence South 55° 30' East 455.78 feet to the centerline ofCounty Road No. 5 as now located and traveled; thence North 32° 08' 23" East along said center line 105.02 feet; thence in a Northeasterly direction along a tangential curve concave to the North- west, said curve having a radius of 1909.86 feet and the chord of said curve bears North 25° 53' 58" East an arc distance of 416.03 feet; thence North 19° 39' 32" East 6.24 feet more or less to the South line of the North 470.8 feet or said North half of the Northwest quarter of Section 32; thence West 0° 00' along said South line 470.55 feet more or less to the point or beginning, shall be zoned (RC) Multi -Family District rather than (RA) One -Family District, the use of said property to be restricted to the erection or apartment houses and townhouse or or row -house dwellings. Section 4. Repealing. Ordinance No. 452, dated May 26, 1970, is hereby repealed in its entirety. Section 5. Effective date. This ordinance shall be in full force ant effect from and after its passage and publication according to law. Passed by the City Council this 24th day of August, 1971. Published: September 3, 1971.
