HomeMy WebLinkAbout2024-031 (Declaring Equipment as Surplus and Authorizing the Disposition of the Same)City of Stillwater Washington County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 2024 -031 A RESOLUTION DECLARING EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSITION OF THE SAME WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Stillwater, Minnesota has been advised by the Stillwater Parks Superintendent that the following equipment is no longer needed for current or future municipal operations: 1. 2004 Lily Lake Park Playground Structure & 1999 Swings; and 2. 2000 Staples Park Playground Structure. WHEREAS, when City property is deemed to no longer be needed for current or future municipal operations, it is to be declared surplus property and disposed of in accordance with State Law and the City Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Stillwater has duly considered this matter and declares the above listed equipment to be surplus, and of no further need or value to the C ity. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, by the City Council of the City of Stillwater, as follows: 1. The City Council hereby declares the City -owned property listed above as surplus. 2. The City Council authorizes the disposal of said property in accordance with State Law and the City Code. Adopted by the Stillwater City Council this 19th day of March, 2024.
