HomeMy WebLinkAboutHPC Resolution 2023-39 RESOLUTION GRANTING DESIGN APPROVAL FOR A BUSINESS SIGN LOCATED IN THE DOWNTOWN DESIGN REIVEW DISTRICT AT 601 MAIN ST N (Case Number CD2023-63)City of Stillwater Washington County, Minnesota RESOLUTION HPC 2023-39 RESOLUTION GRANTING DESIGN APPROVAL FOR A BUSINESS SIGN LOCATED IN THE DOWNTOWN DESIGN REIVEW DISTRICT AT 601 MAIN ST N (Case Number CD2023-63) WHEREAS, the City of Stillwater received a design review application from Signation Sign Group ("Applicant"), for property located 601 Main Street North, legally described as in Exhibit A (the "Property"), regarding the placement of a business sign in the Downtown Stillwater Design Review District; and WHEREAS, the on December 13, 2023, the Heritage Preservation Commission for the City of Stillwater considered the request. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Heritage Preservation Commission of the City of Stillwater hereby approves sign design for 601 Main Street North. The approval of the design is with the following conditions of approval. Conditions of Approval: 1. Plans shall be consistent with those included in this report. 2. All minor modifications to the plans shall be approved in advance by the Community Development Department. All major modifications shall be approved in advance by the HPC. Determination of the distinction between "major" and "minor" is defined in the Zoning Ordinance.
