(And Washington County Assessor's Office) SPECIAL MEETING (Washington County Assessor's Office) Present: Councilwomen Avise and Bodlovick, Councilmen Kimble and MacDonald and Mayor Peterson Absent: None Also Present: Finance Director/Coordinator, Kriesel Assessor's Staff Present: Bob Burns, Washington County Assessor Press: Joy Powell, Stillwater Gazette The City Council met with County Assessor's Office to gather information on assessed valuations for the upcoming Board of Equalization meeting. MR. BURNS. presented data regarding assessed valuations in the City of Stillwater and throughout Washington County. MR. BURNS pointed out that the Assessor's office tries to maintain an equalized assessed value ratio throughout the County. MR. BURNS further pointed out that the estimated market value assigned to property is primarily based on actual sales that take place. The City Council then adjourned to the City Hall Council Chambers to conduct an Ordinance Workshop. * * * * * * * * * * * * COUNCIL CHAMBERS The meeting was called to order by Mayor Peterson Present: Councilwomen Avise and Bodlovick, Councilmen Kimble and MacDonald and Mayor Peterson Absent: Also Present: Press: None Finance Director/Coordinator, Kriesel City Attorney, Magnuson Joy Powell, Stillwater Gazette PROPOSED ORDINANCES CITY ATTORNEY MAGNUSON presented the following ordinances for the City Council to review: 1. Operation of Recreational Motor Vehicles 2. Radio & T. V. Antennas 3. Recreation Commi»sion 4. Exterior Car Storage 5. Manufactured Housing 6. Existing Businesses 7. Regulating St. Croix Riverfront 8. Register Rental Units 9. Amend Flood Plain Zoning 10. Excavations in City Streets 11. Peddler's Licensing 12. Building Moving 13. Name Change - Port Authority 14. Noisy Parties & Gatherings 15. Land Reclamation No action was taken on the ordinances at this meeting except for the discussion.
