The meeting of the Recreation Commission was called to order
at 7 : 55 P. M. by Acting Chairman, Don Jahnke.
Present : Dennis Sullivan, Linda Kluy, Jeannine Hoffbeck,
Jerry Mahoney„ Don Jahnke
Absent : Bill Powell , Glenn Thompson, David Eckberg, Bernard
Peltier
Also Present : Dick Blekum and Bob Brothen
LIFEGUARDS & SALARIES
On motion of Linda Kluy, seconded by Jeannine Hoffbeck the
recommended salaries for lifeguards and supervisors be as follows :
1. There will be a 25Q an hour increase at each level
(maximum of $3 . 50 an hour - see March 18 , 1976 minutes)
2 . The supervisor will receive 25Q an hour over the maximum
for lifeguards ($3 . 75 per hour) . Motion carried 5--0 .
PARKS
Discussion was held regarding various fields and problems . The
tennis courts on the North Hill are having some problems .
O' BRIEN FIELD
Installation of an irrigation system on this field may take
place in the near future.
The meeting adjourned at 8 : 10 P . M.
